There's probably enough tekkies floating around here, that one or more of you have access to a Tektronix TDS5000 series scope.

If you do, you'll like this....

WOW! We have those types of scopes over at TCC but the price tag is rather expensive. I didn't look; however, I bet that the software package cost a few cars too!

They usually list the pricing, but it looks like it's not posted yet...

They've got it in the software download section. A lot of their stuff allows you to run it 5 times as a trial, then locks it out. So you could run it 5 times on every scope you have... :wink:

Found out the software is around 2 grand, and there's a CAN bus trigger module around the same price from one of the Tek partner companies, that works with it. (Sneak it in next time one goes in for calibration!)

The software will monitor two CAN buses at the same time, or a CAN and LIN bus at the same time, so you can watch CAN gateways.... Pretty cool.
