Hello everyone.
I have for sometime now wanted to remove the facotry heater controls and replace them with something controlled from a raspberry pi or arduino setup.
A friend of mine recently advised me that possibly the Can bus can be used to do this.

Doe anyone have information on whether this can be done?
Any direction or information that I can read up on?
Can codes?

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

You'll need to have a look at the system wiring diagrams to see if the heater is even controlled by Can, some are and some aren't. That'll at least give you the confirmation to even start looking.
