Hi everyone,
I am fairly new with CAN bus systems. We are trying to control a forklift with a laptop. This forklift follows a CANOpen protocol. I can connect with this forklift using a laptop and I can also send desired signals from my laptop. Suppose I want to move forward, I send corresponding message from my laptop but at the same time, the ECU is sending conflicting message to the motor controller based on the position of the accelerator. My question is, how do I override this ECU message?

Hey,
Were you able to get it working finally? I'm looking to do the same thing and it would be interesting to see how far you got and share notes. We are trying to do this with a crown electric lift truck. Which manufacturer forklift were you working with?
