CANid Tracking...

Post by linuxkidd » 2005 Sep 30 15:19

It seems we have another pattern finder in our midst... ( SStreet )... I have put him in charge of keeping a list of known CANid's. You can find the thread in the CAN Interface section of the forum.

Please refer to that list for all mapped CANid's... ( I plan on having a Wiki page up for it shortly. )

Thanks SStreet for taking on this task!
If you can read this, the light is still red.

DOH! Not a bean counter.

Lets refer to it in the future as "Data Report Coordinator". :)

I'm happy to help in any way I can.

Waking this thread up after 5 years........

First I find that every M/Y has the potential for different Can Bus address lines and what maybe the radio volume Byte 3 bit 1 on a 2005 Chrysler Magnum at line $1BN on Can B (not a real addresses just a example) could be line $3BO Byte 8 bit3 in a 2011 Challenger with Flexray so if anyone posts a "find" it would be nice to know, year, make and body style as Line Identifiers (LIDS) addresses change.
